A local NGO pushing for decriminalisation of unnatural acts and gross indecency in Sri Lanka is a foreign agent, a Christian group reveals today.

Christian Voice, based in the UK, has found evidence that the pro-gay non-profit Equal Ground, which also promotes the destructive ideology of transgenderism, is financially supported by the High Commissions of the UK, Canada, and Australia and the Embassies of the United States, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Equal Ground is also funded by the wealthy UK-based Sigrid Rausing Trust and the overtly-homosexual GiveOut.org, also based in the UK.

Stephen Green, National Director of Christian Voice, said today:

‘Foreign funding has supported Equal Ground to use the courts to try to force changes to Sri Lanka’s criminal law. ‘Strategic Litigation’ is a well-developed tool of foreign-funded pro-sodomy activists all over the developing world.

‘Western foundations and governments are using a local agent, a creature which they have set up, to interfere in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka.

‘The Equal Ground NGO is also working with Sri Lankan MP Hon Premanath C. Dolawatte, who is attempting to garner support for his bill to decriminalise unnatural acts and gross indecency. It would be no surprise if foreign actors have already sought to channel funds to the campaign of Hon Dolawatte.

‘Foreign governments and foundations are meddling in Sri Lanka to force a sovereign nation to legalise unnatural acts, alien to family, culture, decency and the eternal laws of the Almighty.

‘Homosexuality develops for a variety of complex reasons, including from sexual abuse in childhood and problems with the parent of the same sex. UK experience shows elevated levels of promiscuity and sexually-transmitted disease among homosexuals. It is not inate, it is learned, corrupt behaviour.

‘My research for my book on homosexuality “The Sexual Dead-End” found that sexual desires of many male homosexuals focus on younger individuals whom they recruit into the network. All through the developing world, homosexual men are on the lookout for local boys. It is almost as if Hon Dolawatte wishes to hang a sign in Bandaranaike International Airport saying: “Sex Tourists Welcome”.

‘Why go along with the UK and bring in a measure designed to corrupt Sri Lankan youth?

‘Imagine the row if Sri Lanka was meddling in the politics of the UK or Canada.’
